Microscope is in very good condition and functions as designed. The optics such as eyepieces, objectives, etc. need to be cleaned. Controls of the microscope such as focusing, switching objectives, rotating polarizer and anywhere else grease has been introduced into the system are operating sluggishly. This is because the grease has hardened over time. This will get better with continued use. Best practice is to have a preventative maintenance routine performed by a qualified technician. This has not been done. Other than that this microscopes operates well.
N.B. If incorrect lubrication is applied in optical areas it could ruin the optics.
The item is in used condition. It is not tested.
